Preserving the heritage of Grand Prix RACING
While the very background of its members means our Club will always remain ‘exclusive’, our role is to not only preserve the original spirit and attitudes behind Grand Prix racing, but to promote and foster it to motorsport fans around the world.
The Club was originally formed to find opportunities for drivers to socialise together and share memories of their unique experiences. It has now rightly evolved to share the rich heritage of Grand Prix racing with enthusiasts and new audiences and preserve it for future generations.
With a long history of over 60 years, the Club is driven and kept alive by a spirit of true sportsmanship and camaraderie which is comparatively rare these days, and for that reason alone is more than worth cultivating.
Our website has the ambition to grow into a living testimony of not only Grand Prix and F1 racing, but all other forms of motorsport in which our members have competed over the years.
The Grand Prix Drivers Club is administered by Silverstone Circuits Ltd with its extensive archive being held at Silverstone Museum, UK.
